#  Alternative-Source Revenue and Development Options for the Lynn MBTA Garage 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to examine potential alternative uses and revenue scenarios for the underutilized Lynn Station parking garage

 ### Project Summary

Students worked with MBTA staff to analyze physical, financial, and market characteristics of the Lynn garage site, including constraints, utilization patterns, and potential redevelopment scenarios.



 

 ### Areas of Focus

The team examined financial models for alternative land uses, transit-oriented development scenarios, parking demand tradeoffs, site constraints, and revenue implications associated with redevelopment of MBTA-owned property.
