#  Efficiency Gains in Boston’s Snow Plowing Operations 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the City of Boston to evaluate opportunities for improving efficiency in municipal snow plowing operations.

Students analyzed operational practices, deployment strategies, and cost drivers associated with winter storm response. The team assessed equipment utilization, staffing patterns, and route management to identify opportunities for improving response time while controlling expenditures.
