#  Harboring Solutions: Public Waterfront Access 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the Town of Provincetown to examine public waterfront access in the context of renewing the town’s Municipal Harbor Plan and evolving coastal conditions.

Students worked with town staff to analyze compliance with Chapter 91 licensing requirements, map public access conditions along the waterfront, and review practices used by other coastal communities.



 

 ### Areas of Focus

The team examined Chapter 91 compliance status, spatial patterns of public waterfront access, educational approaches to communicating access rights, and best practices from peer coastal municipalities.
