#  Open Newbury Street: Economic Activity and Urban Use 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the City of Boston to examine the Open Newbury Street program and its effects on commercial activity, pedestrian use, and street-level economic dynamics.

Students analyzed how periodic street closures along Newbury Street affected business activity and foot traffic, drawing on observational data, business perspectives, and publicly available indicators.



 

 ### Areas of Focus
