#  Policy for Collecting Trash from Nonprofits 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the City of Boston to assess policy options for providing trash and recycling services to nonprofit organizations.

Students analyzed the size and scope of nonprofit entities in Boston and developed cost estimates and policy options for expanding municipal waste collection services.



 

 ### Area of Focus

The team examined cost modeling by nonprofit type and size, economic tradeoffs of service expansion, and policy frameworks to guide equitable and fiscally responsible service delivery.
