#  Re-Envisioning the Harbor Islands 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the City of Boston to evaluate strategies for increasing public engagement and financial sustainability of the Boston Harbor Islands.

Students developed proposals to expand programming and infrastructure that would increase visitation while generating sustainable revenue to support long-term maintenance and accessibility.



 

 ### Area of Focus

The team examined comparable urban park models, potential programmatic and infrastructure investments, cost-benefit evaluations of proposed uses, and revenue strategies to enhance park sustainability.
