#  Strengthening Boston’s Seafood Cluster 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the Massachusetts Port Authority to examine economic, infrastructure, and supply-chain considerations affecting Boston’s seafood cluster.

 ### Project Summary

Students worked with Massport staff to analyze the structure, challenges, and operating environment of Boston’s seafood cluster, drawing on interviews, market research, and supply-chain analysis.



 

 ### Areas of Focus

The team examined access to finance, infrastructure and logistics, marketing and quality standards, regulatory considerations, technology and innovation, and workforce dynamics within the seafood cluster.
