#  Waterfront Redevelopment and Community Priorities 

 



The Field Lab partnered with the City of Newburyport to examine community perspectives on mixed-use waterfront development.

Students conducted surveys and interviews to analyze resident and stakeholder views on waterfront redevelopment, with attention to public space, amenities, housing, and historic preservation.



 

 ### Areas of Focus

The team examined public opinion data, stakeholder priorities, land use tradeoffs, governance considerations, and tensions between development, access, and historic character.
